Ok..............Squab is pidgeon. The thought of eating a pidgeon is kind of gross, but they are farm raised for eating. Still I'm a little freaked out! I will let you know how it goes. Adding spice to your life is good...right?! This will be an experience! I have added a picture of the squab before cooking for you to see.
Good Luck! It looks yummy - like chicken. I hope all goes well and you find a new favorite dish. and if it taste bad just add cheese to hind the taste.
ReplyDeleteLooks like chicken...hope it tastes like chicken :)
ReplyDeleteI am not too sure about things that I know nothing about so it would be hard for me to try something like squab I think. Although I am trying to broaden my horizons, I think I will have to start slow with my different food choices. Your blog has been very inspiring. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHelen - I appreciate your sense of adventure and willingness to try a bunch of new foods. I can honestly tell you that I could not do that! A little neighbor friend dropped by the house Friday night and she was eating something unusual and when I asked her what it was...she answered chicken feet. That answer kind of blew me away.
ReplyDeleteHappy cooking!
Have you ever ate alligator or frog legs? I think I would have to become a vegetarian before trying those two things or the pigeon. You are brave!
